Innovative Education Grants
2014-15 IEG Grant Recipients
The Innovative Education Grants program was the first program sponsored by the Fremont Education Foundation, founded in 1991. These grants fund innovative, quality classroom programs in grades K-12 and are aimed at increasing student academic achievement, creativity, leadership, critical thinking, physical fitness and health, skills in diversity and conflict resolution, and experiences in the visual and performing arts. Individual grants are awarded for amounts up to $3,000.
For the 2014-2015 school year, the Foundation was able to award $20,000 in innovative grants in schools across FUSD, and is donating sets of iPads for classroom use to five classrooms in FUSD.
Thank you to the generous donors at our annual Excellence in Education Gala who made this possible!
