  • Why do we offer teacher grants?

We do this to enhance educational excellence for FUSD students and teachers. Teachers who submit and receive grants, bring education off the pages of books, out of the virtual computer experience to real world engaging and meaningful experiences.

Thank you to sponsors who bring these opportunities to classrooms. We welcome and invite new partners who wish to help grow up our future leaders. Please join us for fun and sponsor our fundraising gala on February 23, 2024. Details TBA.

Classroom & STEAM Grants Application

A limited number of grants will be awarded to teachers of the Fremont Unified School District. Funding of grants will be based on the innovative characteristics and quality of the project as described in the application. Grants written for remedial programs during non-instructional time (for example, before and/or after school) are also accepted.

All Fremont Unified School District certificated staff are encouraged to apply for an Excellence in Education Grant from the Fremont Education Foundation. The total number of grants awarded is based on funds raised at our annual Excellence in Education Gala. We typically award $20,000-$30,000 in grants. Individual or group grants are awarded in amounts no greater than $3,000. Questions? Email us at grants@fremont-education.org OR president@fremont-education.org.
